WKAI Asia has become the official representative office of Wankai New Materials in Central Asia. Producers of preforms, bottles, beverages, film, packaging and fibre, as well as traders across the region, can now buy the plant's PET resin directly — without intermediaries and without negotiating in Chinese.
About Wankai New Materials
Wankai New Materials is one of China's largest producers of PET resin. Founded in 2008, the company is ranked among the Top 500 private enterprises of China and is listed on the ChiNext board in Shenzhen. Its production capacity is 3 million tonnes of PET per year at two bases: Haining (Zhejiang province) and Fuling (Chongqing). The Fuling base sits at the crossroads of the Belt and Road routes and the Yangtze River Economic Belt and is the closest to Central Asia.
The plant's customers include Coca-Cola, Nestlé and Danone. Food-grade resins comply with FDA and EU requirements, the plant runs its own laboratory accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, and every lot ships with a certificate of analysis (CoA).
What the representative office does
We handle everything related to supply, from grade selection to receipt of the cargo at your warehouse:
- Grade selection — matched to your equipment, product and clarity requirements.
- Quotation — a price including delivery to your warehouse.
- Documents — contract, certificates and certificates of analysis in Russian.
- Delivery — we arrange transport and customs clearance and report the cargo status at every stage.
Where we deliver
We work with companies in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. If your country is not on the list, write to us and we will work out a route. Cargo travels by rail, by truck or multimodally, depending on volume and timing. Shipment support is available in Russian and Uzbek.
The catalogue covers grades for water, carbonated soft drinks and hot-fill, for BOPET film, sheet and thermoformed packaging, and for polyester fibre and filament yarn. Resin is supplied in big bags or by container; the minimum lot is agreed to match your consumption.
