Routes into Afghanistan
Which crossing we use depends on the volume and the destination city, and we take care of customs on both sides, from export in China to import in Afghanistan.

Via Termez and Hairatan
The cargo goes by rail or road to Termez in Uzbekistan, crosses the Friendship Bridge over the Amu Darya to Hairatan and continues on the Hairatan–Mazar-i-Sharif railway. From Mazar-i-Sharif, the resin travels on by road.

Via Serhetabat and Torghundi
From Turkmenistan, the Serhetabat–Torghundi crossing gives rail access towards Herat.

Imamnazar–Aqina crossing
This crossing from Turkmenistan leads into north-western Afghanistan.

Transit and customs for Afghanistan

What does a factory in Afghanistan need to do to buy PET granules?

Our manager helps select a grade, shares the technical data sheet and can arrange a sample, after which you receive a quotation including delivery to your warehouse.
Which border crossings can be used for Afghanistan?
Through Uzbekistan, cargo can cross the Friendship Bridge from Termez to Hairatan and continue by rail to Mazar-i-Sharif. Through Turkmenistan, the options are Serhetabat–Torghundi towards Herat and Imamnazar–Aqina in the north-west. Onward delivery to Kabul, Kandahar or other cities is by road.
Who deals with customs and transit on the way to Afghanistan?
We arrange export clearance in China, transit documents for Uzbekistan or Turkmenistan and import clearance in Afghanistan. The contract, certificates and specifications are prepared in Russian before shipment, and food safety is confirmed by FDA and EU certificates.
