Chongqing to Tashkent: how the cargo travels and how long it takes

The Wankai production base closest to Central Asia is the site in Fuling, Chongqing. It sits at the crossroads of the Belt and Road routes and the Yangtze River Economic Belt. Here is how a shipment travels from the plant to your warehouse in Tashkent.

Route stages

1. Order. We agree on the grade, volume, packing and delivery method. The quotation includes a price with delivery to your warehouse.
2. Dispatch from the plant. The resin is packed in big bags and shipped from the Fuling base by rail wagon, truck or container.
3. Export clearance in China. We take care of export customs formalities.
4. Transport. The cargo travels by the chosen mode to the border and then through the transit countries.
5. Import into Uzbekistan. We arrange import customs clearance and prepare the document set in advance.
6. Delivery to your warehouse. You receive the resin at your own warehouse, not at the border.

Rail, truck or multimodal

• Rail is the main route for regular deliveries in large lots.
• Truck is used for small and urgent lots.
• Multimodal delivery combines rail and truck when the cargo needs to reach a specific plant.

Documents

The cargo is accompanied by certificates of origin and quality, certificates of analysis (CoA) and specifications. We prepare the document set before dispatch, so that the cargo is not held up at the border waiting for paperwork. The contract and documents are in Russian, so they can go straight to your accounting, customs and quality teams.

How long delivery takes

There is no universal transit time: it is calculated for each order. It depends on:

• the delivery method and lot size;
• availability of wagons or trucks on the shipping date;
• congestion at border crossings and customs clearance times;
• readiness of documents on both sides.

We give an estimated delivery time together with the quotation, and while the cargo is on its way we report its status at every stage of the route. For regular supply we agree a shipment schedule that allows for transit time, which makes it easier to plan resin stocks at your warehouse.
